The Start Of Something Bad

My dad had left a year ago. I was 5. I was going to pre-k and was having a blast. It was weird because I can't remember much except that my dad left. I was sad for awhile, but being the happy-go-lucky kid I was, I quickly got over it. We moved around 2 hours from my old house because my mom wanted to go somewhere smaller, which was fine with me. We moved back not long after. I got roller skates for my birthday. I was so happy I would just roller skate down the hallway. My mom had gotten a new boyfriend. I liked him because he would always look at me with eyes full of love.
